As part of London Climate Action Week, this free event brings together Brazilian community leaders, researchers and campaigners to explore the hidden social and environmental costs of the global energy transition. Through a panel discussion and two photography exhibitions, it examines how the growing demand for critical minerals such as lithium and rare earths is impacting communities in Brazil, highlighting issues of environmental justice, extractivism and green colonialism while centring the voices of those directly affected.
