This full-day workshop offers a guided introduction to chanting the Vedic Mahāmṛtyuñjaya mantra as preserved through the living Mysore lineage. Led by Vedic mantra teacher Krupa, the session explores both the correct pronunciation and deeper meaning of this powerful mantra—traditionally associated with Śiva and known for its qualities of healing, protection, and inner steadiness. Rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition, you’ll learn key principles of authentic recitation, including svara (tonal notes), pronunciation, and foundational phonetic rules that have been preserved through precise oral transmission for thousands of years.
