Role: Concept development, creative direction and artwork

Brief: Virgin records wanted a new visual interpretation of the Paul McCartney & Wings 1975 release Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five to accompany an updated dance remix by Timo Maas & James Teej

Response: Working with the team at Forward Thinking Music we highlighted the driving beat of the remix while celebrating the energy of the original track and Paul’s vocals. Uniting performance with colour, the visual aspect focused on creating a raw and timeless aesthetic that plays with ideas of dualism, memory and dream like states. The title of the track was reimagined in nostalgic neon lettering to create an iconic logo for the EP cover.

Outcome: Music video, album artwork and BTS photography
