Concept development, creative direction and artwork

Virgin records commissioned a new visual interpretation of the Paul McCartney & Wings 1975 release Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five to accompany an updated dance remix by Timo Maas & James Teej

Working with the team at Forward Thinking Music we highlighted the remixes driving beat while celebrating the energy of the original version.
Uniting performance with colour, the visual focused on creating a raw and timeless aesthetic that plays with dualism, memory and dream like states.

The title of the track was reimagined in nostalgic neon lettering to create an iconic logo for the music video and EP artwork
