An intimate invite-only secret gathering just a stone’s throw from the urban sprawl of Hackney, Leyton and Walthamstow.
For this mid-summer encounter the Anomalous DJs will be joined by one of our oldest and dearest friends, Mr SAM DON. Musical connoisseur and Free Association label boss, Sam is all about discovering unique sounds that bring life to the dance floor. His expansive taste stretches across genres and we look forward to hearing something very special on this adventure.
We are also overjoyed to welcome Zeynep Erbay, a London-based DJ and producer shaped by Istanbul’s underground scene and her classical piano roots. With releases on labels such as Soul Clap Records and Compost Records, and the launch of her own imprint Moments On The Floor, her sound moves through playful percussive rhythms, nostalgic tension and high-energy release.
Expect a mysterious journey into sound, out in the secret urban wood…
As this is a wild area we’re minimising coming and going by operating a strict set of timed entrances before Midnight, with NO ENTRY outside of these slots. We strongly advise arriving early to make the most of the event.
Anomalous curate intimate spaces that encourage meaningful connection and interaction for like minded dancers. Due to the nature of this gathering we need to ensure the capacity is kept controlled so we’re charging a small fee to encourage attendance and to cover costs - any profit donated to our local volunteer tree care group. If the fee is prohibitive please contact us directly and we will work something out.
